Coffee we think you’ll love

The labels on our coffee bags stay familiar, but the coffees underneath rotate seasonally with each fresh crop. That is true of the blends as much as the single origins.

We buy from the top 1 percent of fresh crop through direct relationships with producers wherever we can, and pay well above Fair Trade prices. Each new lot is then roasted to match the profile of the one before it, so Classic Espresso tastes like Classic Espresso whenever you order it.

Roasted in Morro Bay

Every bag is roasted on a Loring Kestrel 35 behind glass in a remodeled bank in downtown Morro Bay, in full view of the cafe.

Every batch is logged as it runs, with temperature readings every 4 seconds from several probes. There are tens of thousands of saved batches, and we roast against them.
